What To Do With An Infographic?

There are only so many ways to increase your SEO ranking. I have mentioned them in more detail in my previous blog posts. One method that I am focusing on to gain backlinks is infographics. This is my first attempt and the illustration was made by @francescadarcy, who is on Hyprr. This infographic is a reminder to myself and hopefully will be helpful to other people, who wonder, what do you do with an infrographic when you make one. There were two fonts used, one for the header which was Arial, this is a Sans Serif Font, which is better for titles. For the main body text I used Times New Roman, which is a Serif Font, that is preferred for non titles. People are thought to prefer this style of font, because it is used in Newspapers. We are familiar with it. I like the idea of infrographics, as people are visual and I don’t doubt people are more likely to see the infographic, then read everything I have written here. The advice of what to do with an infographic is something I am plan to try each thing. I received all my information from the two subs, Reddit.com/r/SEO and Reddit.com/r/blogging. Both subs are informative and easy to understand. I plan to make a few more infographics for some of my previous blog posts. It is dependant on whether adding an infographic will improve the blog post. For instance the post about Art Era’s would work well with an infographic, in my opinion. The person who illustrated this infographic is happy to continue. If the concept is more technical such as European art Eras, the plan is to give a small synopsis and if you want to read more, then the blog post goes into more depth.

Blogging Timelines

I still plan to still post a blog every week, but for now, I want to focus on painting and increasing my website’s SEO ranking. There are enough blog posts for people to see what I write about. This website has to be changed, as I don’t like the portfolio and my home page. My aim is to paint more. There are some interesting social media platforms that are on horizon, such as Hyprr which I have mentioned before by name, but not what it is exactly. It is an app similar to Instagram, it is more photo based then Twitter, but you can post videos, streams, NFT’s are possible and it has a chronological feed. But it is decentralized. The creators are planning a marketing push in a month or so. I have used this time waiting for an Instagram alternative to blog and focus on other things. My hope if my SEO ranking improves, then I can focus on blogging weekly again. I need to increase my artistic output. Then I can use my social media pages for both my art and blogging. The great thing about social media platforms, is the fact that your followers are more likely to be interested or are in the same niche as you. In the end my art is the most important thing to me, but I will continue aiming to post once per week or every two weeks at the latest.
