I price my commission rate on a comparably sized artwork that I have for sale, plus the commission fee. When I start a commission with a client, we start with the necessary information.
The dimension of the painting
You choose four of my paintings, I can provide photos of unavailable paintings that are not shown in my portfolio. My full portfolio is on Pinterest. Then out of those four artworks, explain what your favourite elements are.
Client chooses a background colour
Then the process begins. I start the sketch. When I am finished I will send you the finished sketch, with extra information about the colours that will be used.
Depending on the size of the painting, the time it will take to completion is agreed upon.
If the client is happy with the drawing and colour choices, a contract is signed.
When one third of the agreed upon fee is deposited into my account, then I will proceed with starting the artwork.
The deposit is non refundable whether client buys the painting or not.
Photos of the artwork’s progress are available upon request.
If I finish the artwork and it is not accepted by the client, I retain the possession of the painting. The artwork has to be returned to the me, at the cost of the client.
