When Life Gives You Lemons, Do Something For Your Future

Just when I believed I was at the end of all these house issues, I had gutter and roof issue. Thankfully the problems are not too serious, but when you have gone through a ceiling collapse in the past, it is incredibly stressful, to have water coming into your home. I am currently waiting for my roofer to come in a few hours. Hopefully he can fix it since his original fix seems to have kind of improved the situation, so I can have a calm few months ahead. Since I cannot do anything about this problem at this moment, I am using this time to work on my Pinterest account, completing an SEO task and writing a blog entry. You have to look forward in these moments, or else you feel hopeless. The great thing about having a website and blogging is the fact, that there is always something you can do to improve your reach. My plan is to compress all the photo’s on the website. Since I have a large portfolio, with photos that are not compressed other then the photo on the front page, it causes the website to take a longer time loading. That lowers your SEO ranking on Google. Just by compressing the photo on my front page I received a better score via the Google Chrome Lighthouse tool. That is my focus to finish this blog entry, which will mean I am back on track with blogging, start compressing my photos and am currently working on my Pinterest account. With Pinterest as with many things, it is a snowball effect, in the beginning you have to put in a lot of work. The more visibility you gain, the more it starts to snowball into something much bigger then where you started and eventually it can sustain itself. With Pinterest I am trying a different strategy to see how it works and I will write about it in the future, if it works out. Hopefully this is the end of my problems and I hope none of you are having stressful problems at the moment. But I will use this difficult time to focus on my future, it gives me hope for something good happening.
