Little Things I Have Been Doing This Week

Submitting Your Work To Art Blog

There are many art and photography blogs that encourage you to submit your work or project to their site. Currently I am having perusing lists, which can be found just by searching in Google, Art submission blog. Many of them prefer you to have a project in the works, but number them would like to see your portfolio. It is a quick process, as they are inundated with requests, you either just submit your email and portfolio link, or add a small introduction. You never know what will come out of it.

One Thing Has Already Changed My Perspective

Some of these blogs or magazines wish to only look at a project you are making or completing, it sparked my desire to start project. When you have to deal with life events, such as home and other issues I have had to deal with in the last few months, it is good way of painting again. It is exciting to start a new artwork, but when life requires you to take time away from painting, I find it difficult to restart. With a project, you a making many artworks with a similar theme and background story. My goal is to make twenty-four to thirty artworks, the amount that is needed for an exhibition. It is a positive goal, because having an exhibition is a positive event. If something happens in my life and takes my attention away from painting temporarily, I have something familiar to come back to. A project becomes familiar because everything is connected by that moment and shared traits.

At The Same Time I Am Slowly Compressing All The Images In My Portfolio

It is an mundane and tedious chore to find each artwork in my folder(I do forget the names of my artworks) that matches with the one in my portfolio. Many SEO tasks are similar in that you are doing a repetitive thing, but it can have long lasting results. SEO feels as if you are doing a lot of little tasks that all together will make a difference to your website ranking. By next week I should be done since I am have way through my small category, which is my largest portfolio category, then I can see if it has changed anything. That is theme of this week, do a few little tasks, that in future may make a big impact on my business.
